Attaullah Abdulla Jat
A singer from Northern Kutch who specialises in performing Sindhi Kafi songs. His repertoire also includes kafis in Punjabi, Siraiki and ghazals in Urdu and Sindhi. He received his initial musical training from his uncle Husain Jat, and also learned from the late Kafi singer Bava Abdullah Husain Turk. Like many singers in Kutch, he also learned to sing many songs by imitating artists he heard on Pakistani cassettes and radio, especially Ustad Mithoo Kachi and Jalal Chandio. He is unique among composing Kafi songs in Urdu and Sindhi.
